Supply Chain Court of Experts

In June 2001, Joe Aherne, chairperson of the Leading Edge Group, launched a major new initiative, the formation of the Supply Chain Court of Experts, comprised of the leading supply chain professionals in industry

Operations Court of Experts

Such was the positive reaction from professionals involved in this specialist field, that key practitioners from Industry were prompted to launch a sister organisation, the ‘Operations Court of Experts’ (OCE), earlier this year.

How Do You become a Member?

Each of the Courts of Experts has two categories of dues-paying membership. An annual subscription of 1,500 Euro is charged to cover administration costs of these non-profit bodies.
The membership categories are:

(1) End User/Practitioner Membership (Voting Member): Membership is confined to representatives of selected companies. One qualified representative from the member organisation will be listed as a member of the Court of Experts.

(2) Academic/Consortium Membership (Non-voting): This membership category applies to accredited Universities, Colleges and other academic organisations which teach and/or carry out research in Supply Chain / Operations Management.

The membership of both organisations is very impressive, including amongst their ranks, Pfizer’s, Wyeth, Intel, NCR, Amersham, Stryker, Microsoft, DHL, Green Isle Foods, Modus Media, Waterford Wedgwood, Banta Global Turnkey, Roche and many many more.

Aherne comments ‘we need to continue to build our membership base and support all sectors of Industry. We would therefore welcome membership requests from companies who can contribute to the growth and prosperity of these voluntary associations and together help to make a positive difference to global competitiveness”.
